SPARKLING WINE
ZARDETTO SPARLKING “PRIVATE CUVEE” BRUT
PROSECCO, ITALY — N.V.
Dry, refreshing and packed full of energy! The bubbles yield pear, apple, and peach aromas. On the tastebuds, it delivers a wisp of spice and a crispy sensation. Fun stuff!

GREEK ROSÉ – KIR-YIANNI ‘AKAKIES’
Made from the native grape Xinomavro, this one sure is Greek to me. And probably to you too! But hey, this native grape has been fashioned by Kir-Yianni into one of the prettiest aromatic wines of tasty goodness. Its bright wild strawberry tones suggest sweetness here, but it finishes totally dry and complete. Try with the Mezze Board and more!

FINDING NEMO'S BUBBLES!
Bubbles is a hyperactive Yellow Tang Fish who eventually escaped into the ocean with the rest of the tank fish. Here, three half flutes of bubbles are presented to you to enjoy and identify: A proper Champagne, an Italian Prosecco and a mystery bubble that changes weekly. Get all three correct, and you, too, shall feel the freedom brought on by your righteousness!

BARBIE SPARKLES
DOMAINE RONDEAU BUGEY CERDON, FRANCE
One of the most curious wines from France is unapologetically pink, a bit sweet, and bubbly. This wine comes not from a town, or even a small village, but rather from the tiniest of hamlets in the south of France. Consumed as an aperitif, this selection also pairs up nicely with our new array of Chocolate Boards and Crème Brûlée.

WHITE WINE
FIGHT KIWI FIGHT!
It's the "wine fight" that started it all! Behold two half glasses of Sauvignon Blanc from the smoking region of Marlborough. One scored 93 points from the reputable Tasting Panel Magazine and the other is an unrated selection brought on by our Sommelier. Can you identify the 93 point wine? Is the more expensive and high scoring wine that much better?

GO ON SMOKO!
If you take a short work break in New Zealand, you are "going on Smoko". Initially just a smoke break, nowadays the term refers to any type of break, with or without the Marlboro Lights. Since many wine drinkers are hopelessly addicted to Marlborough Sauv Blanc, I ask you to consider taking a wine Smoko to discover something new: two rotating non-kiwi white wines are presented to you to consider. (Inspired by the hilarious song 'I'm on Smoko,' by the band The Chats.)

PINOT GRIGIO TAKES ON THE REST OF THE BEL PAESE
Pinot Grigio is the Bud Light of white wine; kinda smells like nothing and tastes like even less. But you know what, some humanoids like it that way. And that's ok! For just like my therapist says, "You are in a safe place here." But, there are thousands of other Italian varietals worthy of exploration. Thus, we present to you two wines: one is Pinot Grigio and the other is screaming for your love and attention (and your dollars - the non-P.G. is always twice the price)! )

OVUM “BIG SALT” WHITE BLEND
OREGON — 2022
It’s a long drive - or expensive flight - to get to the ocean! But order a glass of Big Salt and be instantly teleported to the beach. This dry and unoaked wine has a saline or sea spray aspect to it. A real vacation in a glass!

RIDE THE LIGHTNING!
There's so little availability of these electrifying wines, it's a Club Milly's Member Exclusive! Not a member? No worries! Just ask your server. Here's the deets: two of the most energetic white wine discoveries are presented. "The Electric Chardonnay Acid Test," is from Germany, and "Sufficiently Whelming" is from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Both are Chardonnay based; but one has Riesling added to it, and one has Sauv Blanc. Can you tell which is which? And which one is twice the price?

ORANGE WINE & PÉT NAT
Orange wine reigns as the hottest wine style among cool drinkers. But have you discovered the latest rage, Pét-Nat? In simple terms, a Pét-Nat is a sparkling wine made in a style predating Champagne. Try 'em both and see what all the kids are into these days. (Orange wines and Pét-Nats are brought to us weekly to consider. The best discoveries of both are offered here.)

FRISK ‘PRICKLY’ RIESLING
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
A hot summer evening (or afternoon, or morning) gets cooled down on the quick with this Patio Pounder. It has just a touch of sparkle, is slightly sweet and has a refreshment level of 5000.

MOSCATO D’ASTI- ITALY
It’s sweet, and it’s freaking out-of-this-world awesome! Super peachy, the frizzante (slightly sparkling) texture keeps it uplifting and ultra-refreshing. Milly's rotates and features the best Moscatos in the market today. Candy in a glass!

ROSÉ
ROSÉ OF THE DAY
At Milly's recent one year anniversary party, we had an epic Rosé tasting featuring various high-quality offerings from around the globe. Now, we are presenting them to you one at a time. You can either ask what's being poured or you can take a swing and attempt to identify the country of origin. Here are the choices: Bulgaria, Uruguay, South Africa, France, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Chile, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Whew! Ok, you get three strikes on this challenge.

GUNS & ROSÉ
Two pink wines are set down to rock you; one is French and one is not. While seemingly every wine-producing area in the world makes Rosé, the benchmark is that fresh watermelon wonderfulness that hails only from Provence. There's an appetite for destruction when it comes to beating out France. Can you spot both the Frenchie, and the one gunning for it?

RED WINE
A MASTER SOMMELIER'S FRENCH RED
Years ago, I was seated with six or more Master Sommeliers for dinner in California. This was quite a high oncentration of Master Somms, seeing as how there are only 273 in the world! The moment was tense with anticipation when the server brought over the wine list. What wines do Master Somms order? Turns out, they zero in on great wines that are, get this…. very inexpensive! So, behold a wine they would have ordered: the 2022 Domaine Rimbert 'Cousin Oscar' from Saint Chinian, France. This French selection is a light-bodied blend, lightly funky, and is certainly Master Sommelier approved. It's. That. Good.

FIND RON BURGUNDY
Two thrilling half glasses of red wine are placed in front of you. Simply put, one is a Burgundy and one is not. Correctly identify the Ron Burgundy and you may find yourself in a glass case of emotion! Honestly, Burgundy can really disappoint. But here, you’re guaranteed to experience a stunning Burgundy in the context of another rockin’ Pinot Noir. Should you find Ron Burgundy, and correctly guess where the other Pinot comes from, the Sommelier will reward you! [Hint: it’s either Oregon or California.]

ISN’T IT HAPPY HOUR ANY TIME?
This wine selection can rotate almost daily at times. Discovering incredible value-driven wines is important in a sea of overpriced offerings. You don't need to spend a ton to get an incredible glass here at Milly's. Just ask your server what's being poured. If you prefer a Happy Hour White, we have that too.

PASO D'ORO - CABERNET SAUVIGNON
PASO ROBLES, CALIFORNIA - 2021
TThis right here is the inaugural vintage release of this wine - and it slaps! Heck, it's already a staff favorite. In Napa and other parts of California, there's been a never-ending race to fashion the biggest, most overblown wines. But Sommeliers across the country are clamoring for more balanced profiles. This Paso D'Oro is in complete harmony.

SUPER MARIO BROTHERS (BAROLO & SUPER TUSCAN)
What restaurant or wine bar offers both a mature Barolo and Super Tuscan placed next to each other for $19? The answer is nil, nada, and nought. For a limited time, you can enjoy this rare pairing at Milly's. You will love the 2017 Chiarli Barolo, which is showing perfectly right now. It's all you'd expect from a Barolo without the $40-per- glass price. Right next to is the 2020 Crognolo Super Tuscan blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot. The 2020 is showing better and more mature than both the 2021 and 2022. Hey, just want the Barolo? Easy. It's just $22 a glass.

WITCHES KETTLE & THE COURT OF BLACKBIRDS
I'm not one for labels, but on occasion, they hit me. Or in this case, scare me! The winery La Morella in Piedmont makes a series of wines of which two are placed side-by-side for you to check out. One is 100% Dolcetto and is called "The Witches Kettle." The other is called "The Court of Blackbirds," and is made from a unique grape called Freisa, which is a relative of Nebbiolo. Both wines are natural wines. One is much earthier than the other. Can you pick it?

CLETO CHIARLI ‘CENTENARIO’ LAMBRUSCO
MODENA, ITALY — 2021
What a fantastic Winter red wine! Lambrusco is the grape and refreshment is the game. The wine is served chilled. The wine is frizzante (slightly sparkling) and finishes with just the perfect amount of light sweetness. Embrace this wine!
